Klein Bottle
Beer bottle from Futurama. Brilliant design. Have to flip it upside down to drink out of it.

Makerbot: Desktop 3D Printer
The hacker collective NYC Resistor has created an inexpensive desktop 3D printer. It layers strands of plastic, so the final render is not completely smooth, but still a way cool hacktastic invention. Check out the process. Rumor on the web is they've got a 3D Scanner in the works, as well.

Lisa Hanawalt
This chick's art is so weird and rad. Discovered her on the cover of Smoke Signals, a passion paper put out by Gabe Fowler, the guy who runs Desert Island, an alternative comic book shop with a bakery motif located off the Lorimer L train in Brooklyn. He spins records in there. I like. Anyway, it was the first copy I'd picked up and it was this covered in a cat face with a train running around the fur. So then I was chatting with Brian Heater of The Daily Cross Hatch and he links me to his recent interview with Lisa Hanawalt and I was like 'whoa! that looks familiar!'
Don't forget to 'Clap Your Hands'
Love Love Love both the melody and goofy odd neon puppet video for 'Clap Your Hands' off Sia's new Album "We are Born."
